In this hands-on session, LEUSD English teachers will learn all about the FREE Learning Managment System
Canvas. Canvas is a thoughtful, user-friendly, and inituative LMS for creating and managing your blended learning class environment. Bring your teaching into the 21st Century by learning how to create classes, upload lessons, hold discussions, add video, teach students "live," and more! Teachers will also gain access to four English Canvas classes FULL of CCSS curriculum currently being utlized by real LEUSD teachers.
Once you sign-up for this SCHED event, you will receive an invitation to a real LEUSD Canvas English class so that you can view what it looks like and explore some of the possiblities this LMS offers. Please accept the Canvas invitation; you will log-in at the P.D. session to learn more. (Friendly suggestion: Use your District email and password when asked to sign-up via the invitation).
Please bring your laptop (if you don't have one, a District iPad will be provided for you).
